Al Harford/ Fred Bear Legacy Shoot – Sat, 08 Mar 2014

This will be a fun shoot, and all archers are encouraged to dress like Fred Bear – prizes for best Fred Bear look-alike, and more! Please plan of joining us for the Al Harford/ Fred Bear Legacy Shoot on Saturday, 8 Mar 2014. Registration begins at 8:15 a.m., shoot starts at 9:00 a.m. See flyer for complete details.

The Camo Breakfast Shoot for this Saturday is canceled. No volunteers showed up to help set up. Please remember that there are no paid workers in this club, no one is responsible for setting up for a shoot or taking down. Everything that happens in this club must be done by volunteers, and when no one volunteers, the club suffers. Please make sure you are getting the monthly emails sent about volunteer needs. If you are not getting the announcements, we don't have your email address. Send email to info@bhuarchers dot org with your email address. If you are getting the announcements, please consider volunteering more. We have a very small core of people that mostly do all the work. Please join in the fun.

EXCEPT the March shoot, the Al Harford / Fred Bear Legacy Shoot is going to be special, very special. Details will be forthcoming. Look here every week or so and we'll put out details as they gel.

AND as happens with most clubs, we are burning out our few regular volunteers. We need new bodies to show up for work parties, shoot setups and shoot tear downs. This comes up nearly every year, but this year we are again talking about eliminating some of our shoots and shortening the league shoots. Please consider helping out. Our neighbors to the north have a requirement that their members help out in a work party at least once a year and this seems like a reasonable thing you might think about. Of course, regular participation would be perfect, but helping at least that once a year would go a long way to keeping everyone happy, happy.

And we're looking to come up with interesting prizes again for the league shoots. More to come.
